Step-by-step guide in the Management Portal
Log in to app.kaswarung.com → click "Reports" in the left sidebar. You'll see the reports dashboard with quick summary cards.
Use the date picker to select your desired period (today, this week, this month, custom range). Select a specific outlet or view all outlets combined.
Navigate between report types: Sales, Products, Shifts, Customers, Employees, Purchasing, Inventory, and Profit & Loss. Each has its own detailed view.
Open Reports → Profit & Loss to see your complete financial picture. Revenue minus COGS = gross profit. Gross profit minus expenses = net profit.
Click on individual shifts, products, or customers in any report to see detailed breakdowns. Shift drill-down shows all transactions within that shift.
Real-time data aggregation and calculations
Reports pull from synced transaction data. As POS transactions sync to the cloud, reports update automatically. All monetary values are in IDR (Rp).
Data Sources
Sales from POS transactions, costs from product data and POs, expenses from the expenses module. All aggregated in real-time.
Smart Filtering
Filter by date range, outlet, payment method, category, and more. Filters apply across all visualizations on the page.
Reports depend on synced data. If a POS device has unsynced transactions, those won't appear in reports until sync completes. Encourage cashiers to maintain internet connectivity.

Check the sales dashboard every day to spot trends early. Compare today's performance with the previous week to identify patterns and anomalies.
If you have multiple outlets, compare their performance side by side. Identify which outlets are growing and which need attention.

Monitor gross profit margins per product category. If margins are shrinking, review supplier costs and adjust selling prices accordingly.
Reports update as POS transactions sync to the cloud. Typically within seconds. If a device is offline, those transactions appear once it reconnects and syncs.
Currently, reports are available in the portal with interactive charts and tables. You can filter by date, outlet, and other criteria. Advanced export features are planned for a future update.
COGS uses the cost price set on each product variant. If cost prices are updated via POs, the latest cost is used. COGS = sum of (cost price × quantity sold) for all items in the period.
